Pat C. Fragile is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science Degree and a Doctorate of Juris Prudence Degree and has been practicing law for 37 years. He was a pilot in the US Air Force for 5 years and served 23 years in the Air National Guard. He has been in private practice in Beckley, West Virginia since May of 1977. During his 37 years of practice, Mr. Fragile has represented clients in automobile accidents, wrongful death and a broad spectrum of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to: contract disputes, estate litigation, divorce, custody, paternity and adoption. Mr. Fragile has successfully litigated cases resulting in 7 figure judgments.

Matthew Fragile - Fragile Law Firm

Matthew Fragile has been practicing law for more than 10 years in West Virginia. Matthew is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with an education certificate. Upon graduating from James Madison University, Matthew taught at Lord Botetourt High School in the Roanoke Valley of Virginia. While teaching at Lord Botetourt, Matthew decided to further his education and enrolled at the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia.

Upon Matthew’s graduation from law school, Matthew took a position with the West Virginia Supreme Court as the Law Clerk for the Honorable John A. Hutchison, Circuit Court Judge of Raleigh County. At the end of his two year contract as a law clerk, Matthew entered into private practice with his father, Pat C. Fragile, and his wife, Stacey L. Fragile at the Fragile Law Firm.

During his years of practice, Matthew has represented clients in automobile accidents, natural gas explosion cases, and mass litigation matters before the West Virginia Mass Litigation Panel. In addition to his personal injury practice, Matthew represents clients in a broad spectrum of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to, debt collection litigation, contract disputes, drafting contracts, and estate disputes. Additionally, Matthew takes great pride in representing children in southern West Virginia who have been the victim of abuse, neglect, and/or other forms of domestic violence. Finally, he has represented numerous parties in divorces, paternity and custody litigation, and guardianship matters.
